I absolutely love this recipe! A sweet friend gave this to me a few years ago and I have made it over and over. I keep them as my “sweet treat” and also have been known to make them as a Christmas gift for some folks at the gym and serve for dessert at our monthly supper club. They freeze really well too! I also take the nutrition and add it to my post workout meal to add some instant carbs (and gratification) in my diet.
|2/3 cup chocolate protein powder of choice (I prefer whey)|
|1 ½ cups dry oats|
|¼ cup agave nectar|
|¼ cup honey|
|½ cup Peanut Butter|
|2 T mini Dark Chocolate chips|
|Pinch of Sea Salt|
Prep Time | 10 Minutes
Ready In | 40 Minutes
Directions | Stir protein powder, oats, peanut butter, honey, agave, chocolate chips, and salt together in a bowl until evenly mixed. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Scoop chilled mixture into balls. Keep cold until serving.
